What Is Global Warming???

Not clear yet about this issue?
What is Global Warming actually?

There are many definitions of Global Warming that's given by all the researchers. One source that i have found give the meaning of Global Warming like in the below...
Maybe this article will give us some information about what is global warming real was!

The question about the definition for global warming or in other words "what is global warming" is relatively easy to answer. We hereby lean at the definitions and explanations given in Wikipedia:

Global warming is the observed and projected increases in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans. The Earth's average temperature rose about 0.6° Celsius (1.1° Fahrenheit) in the 20th century.

Another Article that i've found....

In the current day lexicon of scientists, global warming isn’t really a term of use anymore. The reason for this is that we have come to understand that the effect of the changes we make to our environment will increase the temperature in many locations on the planet, but will also cool a few places. In light of this, the thing you know of as global warming is actually referred to as global climate change. Over all, however, the world is definitely warming.

We need a simple definition for global warming, one that gets the gist without excluding the simplicities. The simplest and most accurate definition is that global warming is the effect greenhouse gases have on the earth’s climate. Greenhouse gases include, but are not limited to, carbon dioxide and methane. While this sounds like a simple definition, there are a couple of key things to realize.

First, global warming is both a natural phenomena and one created by man. Put another way, greenhouse gases are a natural part of the biosphere and would exist if man did not. Indeed, they are a critical component to the existence of life on this planet. If greenhouse gases didn’t exist, the temperature on planet earth would average zero degrees! Naturally occurring gases, however, keep the temperature at a much more livable 59 degrees.

So, if global warming occurs naturally, what is the big panic about? The problem we are facing is the volume of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases act as thermal blankets for the atmosphere. The more gas in the atmosphere, the thicker the blanket and the less heat escapes. Over the last 80 years, we have been pumping massive amounts of greenhouse gases into the sky. At the same time, we have been reducing forestation around the planet, the primary plant collection that sucks greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. This double whammy is starting to show negative results, the increased heating of our world.

The ultimate question with global warming is what will happen as the planet heats up. We are already seeing signs with the retreat of the glaciers. Glacier National Park, for instance, is going to have to be renamed since it has already lost 65 percent of all of its glaciers! While the exact end result of global warming is not clear, we can expect major climatic changes over the next 80 years.

Well, you were looking for a definition for global warming. As long winded as this one is, it is as definitive as you are going to find.

Salam n hye...we meet again. I have found many article about this issue that we've been discussed...but i choose two of them to show u all. So, please leave your comment about what i have posted and let we discuss together! Thank You...

PEace Be Upon You...
what can i conclude from the definition in our blog is, all the devastation and what make the earth sick is because of human themselves didn't want to take care the earth wisely. Therefore, Earth is dying and has come to the limit...

yes...you're right, Am. Global Warming happened because some unresponsible people didn't care about this world. They easily chopped the trees and destroyed forest without thinking wisely. That will create a dangerous phenomena called Global Warming...And I dont think that they are not realized it!

hye yus and idham..
sorry for took a long time to leave my coment on this post..heheh..
but alhamdulillah Allah gives me chance to leave coment here..and share something with both of you..well as we know as well global warming is a serious problem..There are several causes of Global Warming, it is important to learn about what is affecting our world. Global Warming is a very serious threat to our way of life. There are many proven facts that demonstrate how global warming has affected certain parts of our planet. The future predictions of global warming are important to note also. Things don't look so good, but there are some things we can do to slow down the process. all of the solutions to prevent this problems are depend on us how to solve it..in this word, however humans are habitual in their nature, giving up their outomobiles, buses, trains, etc..we have to find the way to solve this problem...

yus...i've found something interesting to share about global warming causes...(^,`)v
Global warming is caused by several things, which include man-made or anthropogenic causes, and global warming is also caused by natural causes...Natural causes are causes that are created by nature. One natural cause is a release of methane gas from arctic tundra and wetlands. Methane is a greenhouse gas and a very dangerous gas to our environment. A greenhouse gas is a gas that traps heat in the earth's atmosphere. Another natural cause is that the earth goes through a cycle of climate change. This climate change usually lasts about 40,000 years.Man-made causes probably do the most damage to our planet. There are many man-made causes of global warming. Pollution is one of the biggest man-made problems. Pollution comes in many shapes and sizes. Burning fossil fuels is one thing that causes pollution....

In addition, here's recent result shows based on the research that i had conclude is back in 200 years past the global warming isn't big issues. Which mean before the mechanical vehicle was invented, and global warming are not popular after all. Activists and researches cannot agree as to whether or not humans are causing global warming, but I think we can all agree that when something unnatural occurs, it affects the natural.

If we are producing more gases than what is known as natural, then you would expect that this would have an affect on our environment, but whether or not this affect is causing global warming, well, we will have to leave that down to the scientists.

It is said that in the last century the earth has warmed by 1%, although this is not a massive amount, it still could be an unnatural 1% which would have an effect on the earth's climate.

The truth of the matter is, the earth works in a certain way that even the best scientists in the world cannot fathom it. We can never assume we know it all just as we cannot 100% rely on what we already believe we know as there could be many unknown factors that have not been taken into account.

It is natural to believe that we are having some kind of affect on our environment in comparison to 200 years ago, but is the cause of global warming? I guess we couldn't say either way, but what we do know is that we need to keep it in mind and do what we can to help our environment.

Yeah...that's right...jannah and Am..i agree with our opinion about this issue. after i read all article that i found and what have you all given, i definitely got many informations about this dangerous phenomenon, Global Warming!
So...Let us continue with our next step...

After we know that Global Warming such a very dangerous threat to our world and all life, we should then know what sources that contributes to it. So, let us find more information about that sources and bring it together here!

Thank You Friends for being a very good members and human that really cares about our world...I'm really proud of us!!!
